We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone. We have been thinking of all of you and know that you are thinking about Grandma. We thought it would be fun to create a little blog for her so that you all don't feel so far away. We aren't promising to post regularly, but we may occasionally, especially if there is something particularly fun or of interest to pass along. Also, if you have a message you want to post to Grandma here, she'll get the message!

That said, we were a small group but had a great Christmas. I think Grandma brought the snow with her for the holidays. This is the first "White Christmas" we have here had in recent memory. We have about 12" of snow on the ground and have been having tons of fun -- but have not used any frozen animals to build out our sled runs.

Grandma and Geigy made Gingerbread cookies and got together icing and other candies to decorate our own snowmen. It was a hit and will likely turn into a permanent tradition around here in the future. You'll see some of the finished product in the video below and a Christmas Eve song for you. Love you all.

Thanks to the Doyles & Geigy for making it a good Christmas for Grandma.
Maybe one day we can all be together in a cabin in the woods or a shanty by the bay for Christmas.
I love you all so very much, cherish the memories I have tucked away in my heart & long for more time together.
